Returning isn’t the end—it’s the start.

This month, a woman in our community shared a familiar truth: she’s been out of the workforce for years, ready to return and unsure where to begin. Her confidence was shaken. Her options felt limited. She was ready to say yes to anything.

But we reminded her— this is where the real work begins.

Not with the job search, but with herself.

Write down what you want. Get clear on your why. Update your LinkedIn and CV. Envision your ideal personal brand. Reach out, connect, and show up. And most importantly, rebuild your belief. Because the right opportunity comes when you own your direction.

There’s no straight line back. But there is strength in every step forward.

Jewels Sisson: Owning her frame, on her terms

When Jewels Sisson relocated to Dubai with her family, she was stepping into unknowns — new country, new motherhood, new expectations. Her daughter needed more of her. Her career path felt paused.

But Jewels didn’t stay still. A talented video producer, she leaned into her strengths, grew her network through Crunchmoms and redefined her work life on her terms. Now? She’s a thriving freelance producer with a full client list and a growing reputation— all built with clarity, intention, and heart.
