About Aisha Leitner, Founder of Party Camel

Aisha started Party Camel in 2013, when she struggled to find pretty partyware for my kids.  The idea was born when her daughter turned one, it took her one more baby and a few more years until Aisha took the plunge and started with an online Party Shop.   

She started from her store room at home with a small collection of boutique party ranges. Within a year she had outgrown the store room and things started to "spill" out of there.   Until Aisha's husband couldn't stand boxes everywhere and she had no choice but to move out.

Aisha started with outsourced warehousing with Aramex and took office space in Al Qouz to work from and build a team.  The business grew from there and eventually, they were forced into taking their own warehouse space (as Aramex kept messing up the orders), which in hindsight was the best decision ever!  After two years of their own warehousing, and realizing this is not as tough as she thought,  Aisha took the plunge again and moved to bigger premises last year with visible branding on the main road. She feels now the business is in a position to expand and grow and she is very much looking forward to the next phase of the business.

Aisha has two children, her daughter Eva is 13 and her son Kian is 11. They have very much grown up around Party Camel, when they were younger they loved to come in and help. Now not so much, so she wants to find new ways to motivate them to "help". Family is very much at the heart of everything she does.  

Aisha's goal is to bring joy to any occasion, through sparklers, balloons, candles, and beautiful products.  To make accessible pretty things to everyone celebrating, to bring in an element of delight to the celebration and make it special and memorable. After all, we have to celebrate the milestones and make beautiful memories we can cherish with our friends and family. Helping busy mums create these magical moments gives me purpose and drives me to create and build.

About our Connect with Crunchmoms events

We have a new day, time, and location for our weekly Connect with Crunchmoms sessions. Join us on Mondays at 9:30 am at Tania’s Teahouse (779A Jumeirah St in Umm Suqeim 2)

Come join us in person every Monday to learn, connect, and grow from these inspiring talks and workshops by inspiring women. We charge 85 AED for talks and 100 AED for workshops. You can also join the Crunchmoms community for 300AED per month which gets you unlimited access to events & workshops, coaching, consultation, access to members' network, a private Whatsapp group chat, and more. This ticket reserves your spot at the talk/ workshop.
