Aya Assaf is an ex-corporate professional with a background in marketing. She left her corporate job after having kids and joined forces with her husband and best friend to create Koala Picks. At Koala Picks, she leads product development and operations and is also a proud full-time crafty mom.

Koala Picks launched in October 2019, promoting healthy lifestyle habits for families. Their products range from healthy sweet and savory snacks, which can be purchased in single boxes or as part of a subscription service, and delicious breakfast and baking items that can be purchased on their own. All Koala Picks recipes are made from scratch in-house by the talented team in their licensed kitchen, with all items approved by a certified nutritionist. The Koala Picks promise is to provide families with yummy snacks and products that are completely koalified – meaning no refined sugar, no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours; just the good stuff! 

About our Connect with Crunchmoms events

We have a new location for our weekly Connect with Crunchmoms' sessions on Sunday at 9 AM at Intersect by Lexus at Gate Village 7 in the DIFC until the end of 2021! 

Come join us in person at Intersect by Lexus located in DIFC every Sunday this November to learn, connect, and grow from these inspiring talks by inspiring women. We charge 65 AED for general registration per event or we welcome the community to join the membership, which gets you unlimited access to events, coaching, consultation, access to members network, and more for 300 AED a month on auto-renewal each month. 

This ticket reserves your spot at the talk and includes complimentary water and 20% off your entire bill.

Driving? There are a few recommendations for parking at DIFC. 

Gate Avenue Self-Parking: it is free for the first three hours and 10 AED per hour after the three hours. It's a 10-minute walk to Intersect by Lexus. If you go into DIFC towards the car park at Gate Avenue, turn right into it but once inside, go left and park up that end. Go towards the furthest door, that's the closes to Gate Village. There you will also find the validation ticket desk where you will need to validate your ticket before you leave.

DIFC Self-Parking: There is paid parking at DIFC which is free the first hour and 20 AED for the second hour.

Valet Parking: You can valet park and get it validated with a minimum spend by the restaurant of 65 AED for the first three hours. 

RTA Parking: There is also RTA parking on the streets around DIFC if you're lucky to find a spot. 

The convenient entrance is in front of Building 10 or 8. If you park at Building 5, take a left when you exit building 5 and when you see Boca on your left, turn right in a small alleyway into a small court-yard type area. If you park at Gate Avenue, it is a 10-minute walk.
