About the speaker

Mustafa Y. Koita is the founder and CEO of Koita foods. He launched the company in 2013 and the Koita Milk Brand was born in 2016 with a mission to make premium healthy RTD (ready to drink) beverages more accessible to families in the emerging markets.

His dedication to combine quality & health, without compromising on taste, in a staple product has led this homegrown FMCG brand to grow rapidly.

As of April 2023, Koita offers a portfolio of 24 products across organic dairy, lactose-free dairy, and plant-based options.

Whilst the team calls him “Chief Everything Officer”, Mustafa’s sights are firmly set on continuing to scale the business whilst staying focused on core markets.
