About Deema Al Alami, Founder of @Oh.the.books.that.youll.read Instagram account

Deema Al Alami is an Educator and a reading advocate, she is the founder of @oh.the.books.that.youll.read Instagram account and has been working in the field of Education for the past 16 years. She has a BA in Elementary Education (with a focus on Language Arts) from the American University of Beirut and a MA in Education from King's College London. She started @oh.the.books.that.youll.read on Instagram after having her first baby, and discovering how little parents read with their children, not because they don't see the importance of reading, but because  many do not know how, what or when to read with them! She started sharing her tips, and favorite children's books with her friends, until one day they encouraged her to start this account. Deema is a mum of two boys,  and she also magically finds the time to be the co-founder of AL ALAMI BOOK CLUB with over 500+ active  adult members, and the co-author of two children's books in Arabic 'Hatha Jismi La Talmasni'- the first Arabic body safety book for 0-5 year olds & 'Min Balad Osmoh Falasteen' a book that celebrates Palestine and its' people.

About our Connect with Crunchmoms events

We have a new day, time, and location for our weekly Connect with Crunchmoms sessions. Join us on Mondays at 9:30 am at Tania’s Teahouse (779A Jumeirah St in Umm Suqeim 2)

Come join us in person every Monday to learn, connect, and grow from these inspiring talks and workshops by inspiring women. We charge 85 AED for talks and 100 AED for workshops. You can also join the Crunchmoms community for 300AED per month which gets you unlimited access to events & workshops, coaching, consultation, access to members network, a private Whatsapp group chat, and more. This ticket reserves your spot at the talk/ workshop.
